David Beemer has been in the mortgage industry since 2001 and has originated, processed and closed over 300 loans using dozens of lenders.  He resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia and is the proud father of two daughters: one a senior at Virginia Military Institute and the other a freshman at Virginia Tech.

I received an appointment from Minnesota to attend the United States Naval Academy, graduated in 1987, and became a surface warfare officer/steam engineer (visiting 27 countries in eight years).  In 1992, I assessed my future and became licensed to sell life insurance.  I added investments in 1993, earned my M.B.A. in 1995, and then left the Navy to work in the financial field.

I started my own company in 1999, and added mortgages in 2001.  I'm a Registered Representative (broker) with Investors Security Company, a life agent with Broker Service Marketing Group, and an independent loan officer with Colonial Mortgage Group.

Currently I serve 360 families and dozens of small companies in the Hampton Roads area.  My Mission Statement is simple:  To help middle-class Americans protect their families, get completely out of debt, educate their children and retire on sound financial footing.

I've been active in local politics since 1992, and fish in the Chesapeake Bay and the ocean.  I enjoy gardening and astronomy.  I recently earned my instrument rating and purchased a Piper Six, PA-32-300 (a low-wing, single-engine plane that seats six) that I fly up and down the East Coast for fun and business.
